Make your own chefknife from Sanmai or Patternwelded steel.
We will work in a similar way to the regular knifemaking course but we will make the knives out of pre-laminated sanmai or patternwelded steel (we will also go into a little bit on how to forgeweld different steels to eachother)
The Schedule will roughly be...
Thursday: Forging and heattreat of the blades
Friday: Grinding, polishing and finishing of the blades + make and mount a handle on the knife.
Lunch and snacks etc during the day is included in price.
