280 Honyaki slicer

Forged from C130 steel and differentially heattreated with clay to 64-65hrc
Overall a quite thin slicer but still quite stiff.
Convex grind.
Polished with sandpaper and compounds and etched to reveal the hamon and alloybanding.
Balancepoint ~1,5cm forward of makers mark.

Handle is made from Ancient Redgum with a silver bolster
