1-day Forgewelding class Saturday 20/9-2025

1-day Forgewelding class with me Jonas/Isasmedjan at my workshop in Kyrkhult (Blekinge) Sweden.

We will go through the concept of forgewelding different steels together.
There will be a short theoretical presentation at the beginning of the class but mostly we will do practical forging with different combinations of steel, iron and stainless cladding.
You will go home with atleast one bar of patternwelded steel and one bar of laminate/sanmai sufficient for small/medium blades.

This class is mostly directed towards someone who wants to take their forging to the next level and learn how to understand the Forgewelding procedure.
Forging experience is not necessary to participate but helps if you want to get as much as possible out of the class.

We will use Hammers, Anvils, powerhammers and grinders so bring appropriate clothing and shoes, i will provide Earmuffs/plugs, safety glasses and gloves.

Duration: ~09.00-17.00

Lunch, snacks and of course the bars of steel you make during the class is included in price

Note that the price is excl. VAT, this will be added at checkout (this is because the setting i'm using for international orders)
