Forged sanmaiconstruction in house, Böhler TWR coresteel heattreated to 64-65hrc with wrough iron cladding.
This steel is tough and has very good edge retention, it's also very rare and hard and expensive to find.
Kasumifinish with Maruoyama suita as the last stone in the progression.
Grind is a mix of cutter and wh weighing slightly towards wh.
Forward balance with balancepoint 1cm forward of makers mark
Edge profile has a gentle curve all the way back to the heel.
